The fruit for Aloe Tree hails from the increasingly fashionable west coast of the Cape.

The grapes come from selected vineyard blocks on the west coast.The extra warmth in thisarea helps develop the full body
and ripe flavours of this variety.The vinesare planted on Karoo clay soils that add bodyand texture to the wine.The vinesages
vary from 10 to 25 years old
On arrivalat the winery the fruit isgently pressed and only the free run juice is used. Usingselected yeasts the juice then
undergoesacold fermentation. the white is then left to rest on it’s lees for 3 months whilst the red matures in old French oak
